To camp somewhere has been on my summer bucket-list for a long time and I finally did it in the beginning of this month. There is this small farm festival which is not that well known, it's kind of a family meeting where related people gathers to this place and have fun. By the way there was non internet service. But I still took my phone because I wanted to take photos of this beautiful area and show you. You can see them down below. It was my first time in a long time camping outside in a tent aaand it did not went well... I went after the main party to my tent. Went inside all naked, because someone had told me that it's the best thing to do if you want to keep warm in a tent.. Well I wasn't. I hope that no one was playing around with me.. Anyways. I just laid there in the tent and was trying to sleep but I basically couldn't. I was about to freeze to death, it was so cold. But when I looked up I saw plenty dots and long lines connected to them. I was hoping that it would be just some weirdo flies. But no. I was wrong. It was Spiders. My biggest fear. The number one thing that I hate the most. I was trying to stay calm but I freaked out. I ran out of the tent butt naked and ended up sleeping in a car. But I felt much more comfortable there than sleeping in a tent which had full of spiders. Slept in 2 hours and headed back home because of work. I think that I'll never sleep in a tent ever again! But here are some photos from the trip. I hope that you'll have a great weekend with your friends! Cuz I'm about to ;)

I participated in the beginning of August to act for a project with Inspired by Iceland. I'm now on the front cover and have been ever since from September when they published the video. Maybe some of you recognize the a-ö Icelandic song, also known as "the hardest karaoke in the world" that was just released. It was a new thing for me and I really enjoyed doing it. I was supposed to act in a natural hot tub in the Westfjords which is called the "Hellulaug." The first night I stayed at a Hotel in Patreksfjordur. I was really excited but I had do go to sleep early and rest, because we were starting early the next morning. The hotel was nice but I didn't sleep well. Probably because of excitement. I had a good and a nutritious breakfast. When I was done eating, I went to few places before my shoot. I had to wear natural make up, sweater from 66° north and purple bikini's. The shoot took a long time and my feet were starting to hurt because I was always walking over some small rocks, over and over. But we finally did it and here below you can see the video that they put together, just click on the photo above and follow the link. I dare you to "try to sing along"!... I was also in another vid on their page which is of the Westfjords. I really recommend to take a look at their website. It's a great guide for you if you're planning a trip to Iceland and it also has a lot of ideas of places. You could even win a trip to Iceland if you'll take their quiz. If you really want to, then go on now before it ends! This was a big step for me and a new good experience. I know it's not a big part of the music video but it's still something new for me and one of the top highlights this year. I had a great time by doing it, until next time..
x Monika Janina K I got a vacey from my job so that I could go to Akureyri and visit the East part of Iceland. My grandmother grew up there till fourteen and now she's turning 80! So she invited us to come with her and grandpa and also other uncles and aunties to stay in a sunmerhouse in a forest near by Egilstadir. I needed a rest from the work and it felt so good just to go somewhere else and take a breath in a new air. I've been working hard the whole summer and I couldn't wait for this holiday. The first stop was in Akureyri one of mines favorites towns in Iceland. So I was there the first night and I did a little shopping next day before we went to the summerhouse. On the way we stopped somewhere in a homecoffeshop. So we just walked in to the owners house and we got a apple pie in a room with few tables. It was quiet interesting. Skútustaðahreppur - On the way from Akureyri Low different rainbow // Lágur öðruvísi regnbogi The first two days were fine, well I did get more sleep then usually. It was soo good to get there to the sunmerhouse and end the day in a hot tub. //Fyrstu tveir dagarnir voru fínir, ég fékk allavega að sofa út. Það var svo gott að komast upp í bústað og enda kvöldið í heitapotti. Monika Janina KristjánsdóttirHello! Me and my school went for a school trip to Denmark. It was sooooo exciting. The first thing that we did after landing in Denmark, we took our baggies and left them at a house where we stayed. We explored the city and I really like the houses who are on the Stroget, so close and nice. I also saw like many street arts and one of them I fell so in love with! Copenhagen is such a beautiful city! The one thing that I loved was that there aren't people judging people like with another color or folks just from another countries. I mean I saw many different people and it made me happy, because they were just like they are and nobody was complaining. I did so many things like I went for the first time to a fish spa and there was a really hot boy working there. That didn't destroy anything haha. I don't know how I felt about the little fish eating my dead skin, sometimes it was OK but sometimes it hurt a little. It didn't feel comfy at all and not uncomfortable. I love Denmark and I love to travel. So this is a perfect place for meee! My outfit was simple, a crop-top with pattern on the chest and back, gray comfy shorts, Lee jacket, little Adidas bag and black Nike shoes. //Fatastíllinn var mjög einfaldur þennan dag. Ég var í svörtum magabol með flottu mynstri á bringu og baki, gráar þægilegar stuttbuxur, Lee jakki, lítil Adidas taska og svartir Nike skór. Some of the street arts that I saw. //Eitthvað af götulistum sem ég sá. Next day we went to an aquarium "Den Bla Planet". //Næsta dag fórum við í vatnsdýragarð "Den Bla planet". We all had it soo good and we got to know each other much more. We did many things like going to Tivoli, Bakken. zoo, trip to the queen place, that was sooo much fun and of course we went for some shopping! It's just a MUST thing to do! Það er bara MUST! On exactly this time, this giraffe nearly could've knock me out! He swing his head at the direction where I stood and it nearly, nearly hit me! Here are few more of my photos :) // Hér eru aðeins fleiri myndir :) I really love Denmark. I could live here and it's much cheaper here than in Iceland. I've actually been here once before but just with my volleyball team and it was like far away from the city. It's called Ikast where we were. I had so many memories there with my team and now I just want to go yearly with my friend. We've been here 2 times in 2 years so I hope it will be our thing to go yearly haha. Denmark is one of mines favorites countries. Hope that you liked my first post, stay tuned.
